| Here is a small sampling of ways
in which Dr. White has helped people to successfully meet
and conquer their challenges.
Challenge #1:
A woman in her 20s was about to marry a nice
young man. She knew that she loved him and that he was a person
of character and warmth. But this was her second engagement.
Her first fiance, a man she loved deeply, was stricken with
a fatal illness during their engagement. After much suffering,
he died in her arms. She loved her new intended, but felt
that she was "cheating" on her first.
With the help of relaxation techniques, she
attempted to put herself into the mindset of her first fiance,
and view things from what she felt might be his perspective.
She was able to visualize him refreshed and healthful, and
realized that he would have probably liked this new young
man, and would even give his blessing to their marriage.
The woman felt that she got the "permission"
she was seeking, and went through with what would become a
very happy marriage.
Challenge #2:
A woman in her early 30s came to Dr. White feeling
that she wasn't connecting with her creativity. She'd been
brought up to feel that artistic talents are fine but you
need a profession in order to make a living.
The woman had a wonderful career, a lucrative
job at a respected company, but no longer possessed a passion
for her work or her life.
She and Dr. White worked together to explore
her options, but also to bolster her confidence and her courage
and to redirect her energy toward different outcomes. She
eventually left her well-paying job to strike out on her own.
She is now a successful and respected freelance writer. She
is no longer making the money she once was, but is making
what she needs. And more than money, her passion for life
has returned and she feels that she is living her purpose.
The new prospects for her are increasing, and the idea of
living her dream and being well rewarded for it is becoming
her reality.
